WHEN IT NEEDS TO LOOK LIKE REALITY
PHOTOGRAMMETRY
Thousands of overlapping high-resolution frames stitched into a photorealistic, measurable model of the site as it stood on the day. More cost-effective, faster, and often entirely sufficient.
Best for:
Construction progress and as-builts · photorealistic accident scenes · documenting rust, cracking, and façade condition · anything where the client needs to see it.
Can't do:
See through vegetation.

LIDAR
WHEN IT NEEDS TO BE REALITY
Millions of active laser pulses per second, penetrating vegetation to model true ground elevation the camera physically cannot see. More expensive, and sometimes the only thing that works.
Best for:
Mapping overgrown or wooded land · powerline and thin-wire detection · precise drainage and slope analysis · anything where the answer is an elevation.
Overkill when:
The site is bare and you just need a photorealistic model. We'll tell you.
